Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Roofy, from trial to cancellation.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a credit card for the free measurement?
- No. You register, perform a real measurement, and download the PDF report and DXF export, all without providing payment details. One free measurement per account.
- How should I take the photos and how does the tool work?
- Sign up and you'll find a detailed help section in the app with drone instructions (flight height, overlap, nadir shots), workflow tips and troubleshooting. No paid plan needed, just a registered account.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. Pro Monthly cancels monthly, Pro Yearly at contract end. After cancellation you have 90 days read-only access to your projects and can export as ZIP at any time. After 120 days all project data (images, measurements, reports, orthomosaics) is permanently deleted.
- Where is my data stored?
- Drone images, user data, projects, PDF reports and DXF exports are stored on Supabase in Zurich (eu-central-2). Drone images are removed after successful processing, the orthomosaic remains available. Orthomosaics are stored on our Hetzner server in Germany, where OpenDroneMap handles image processing. revFADP-compliant, no US cloud provider.
- How do team licences work with Enterprise?
- Enterprise starts with 3 seats. Owner, Admin and Creator each occupy one seat. Read-Only users together occupy a single seat, no matter how many you invite: 2 Creator + 10 Read-Only = 3 seats, not 12. Each additional active seat costs CHF 100/month (CHF 87.50 yearly).
- Can I switch from Pro to Enterprise?
- Yes, at any time. Stripe handles the prorated switch automatically. Downgrade from Enterprise to Pro at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Are the prices inclusive of MWST?
- No. All listed prices are exclusive of Swiss MWST 8.1%. MWST is shown separately on the invoice (FNPlan GmbH is VAT-registered).
- How does the launch offer work?
- The first 50 Pro customers pay CHF 50/month (instead of CHF 200/month) for the first 2 months. Then regular pricing. In return, we expect brief feedback via in-app survey.
